Milan, Italy

The Fashion Capital City of Italy

Milan is the capital of Lombardia, the richest and the most populous region in Italy. The second largest city in the country , known as the economic and financial center, home of stock exchange. The city is recognized as a major world fashion and design capital. Filipinos has the highest population in terms of foreign born residents in Milan, imagine the numbers of Filipino living legally in Milan plus the illegal one. So huge!
Arriving in Milan, we did a short walk to the restaurant for our dinner. I  really felt I'm in the fashion city where famous brand name is scattered anywhere. Compared to other city I've been in Italy, Milan is the modern one and I could feel lot of shopping will do here but it has also its own share of historical and architectural attraction.
I was totally surprised of myself and realize how much I like Milan. I really fell in love with the style and fashion of the city and I was simply amaze about Milan that I could not explain the reason of loving it. Upon writing this blog I couldn't even think how to describe Milan in one word to give a title for this. One word is not enough to describe Milan.

La Felicita Ristorante Cinese
Ristorante La Felicita is a chinese restaurant offered different kind of chinese cuisine. We were served some typical chinese delicacies.  Since the restaurant does not have that much ambience of its classic and typical style we decided to go out and take some photos :) On our next stop, its time to check-in in our hotel for a good night rest and sleep.
Double Tree by Hilton Hotel
Double Tree by Hilton Hotel is one the most beautiful and luxurious hotel we've stayed for our whole tour in Italy. Very modern, classy and elegant. Double Tree has a stylish six floor hotel. Upon check-in they gave us a welcome delicious chocolate chip which I really loved the taste of it. So unique instead of giving their guest a welcome drink they gave us chocolate cookie with a tagline of "Stressed Spelled Backwards is Desserts". Another thing why I loved this hotel, they are offering a complimentary WIFI, I was so happy to hear it, just not me all of us in the group.
Double Tree is located in Milan's most developing business district. They offered a stylish guest room and comforting amenities, of course with a complimentary wireless internet access, complimentary coffee/tea, minibar and a 32 inch LCD flat TV screen. I also love their toiletries from Neutrogena and a wonderful relaxing aromas from Crabtree and Evelyn. Perfect pampering thing for a tired  day and a perfect place for a good night sleep.
This is just the start of Milan and I'll be sharing you more on my next Italy post.
This is just the beginning of how much I like Milan.
