The Final Journey
The day tour continues.....
After seeing the fantastic light show and a walk to the historic tunnel of Malinta. Now the best part of the tour "Lunch". Finally it's lunch time, served at the only hotel available in the Island of Corregidor, "Corregidor Inn".
The buffet was simply gastronomic delight. Soup, pasta, salad, meat, chicken, vegetable and desserts. A healthy welcome drink is given upon are arrival. Superb!
Batteries Barracks
Pacific War Memorial
This memorial was erected to honor the Filipino and American servicemen who participated in the Pacific War.
Pacific War Memorial Museum
In this museum you could see lot's of memorabilia used during the old time in Corregidor and photos behind it.
Eternal Flame of Freedom
A Large steel sculpture which symbolize the Flame of Freedom burning eternally. With a breathtaking panoramic view of the Manila Bay, the Bataan Peninsula and the coastline of Cavite.
Mile Long Barracks Ruins
The Ruins of the Mile Long Barracks is a three story concrete building and contructed to be hurricane proof. It was popularly known as the world's longest military barracks
We really had fun taking our jump shot at the ruins....

As our journey to this enchanting historical discovery of the Island of Corregidor comes to an end. It was a wonderful experience to stand-in and reminished one of the historical well-reserved landmark of the Philippines. It's worth a visit and so good to get closer to Philippine History once in a while.
