Summer is definitely more fun with NIVEA SUN! My top summer wonder is Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Summer is definitely more fun with NIVEA SUN! My top summer wonder is Puerto Princesa, Palawan

The City in a Forest

Puerto Princesa the capital city in the largest province in the Philippines, Palawan. Tourist are extremely boosting here, both locals and foreigners for their is so much to see, to explore and to experience. A perfect summer getaways, away from my busy world.

Beaches,  food, underground river, heritage, nature are few of the many things Puerto Princesa, Palawan has to offered to us.

Exploring the City of Puerto Princesa
This is the best way to explore and to see the beauty of Puerto Princesa through a City Tour.
  • A visit to the Baywalk, a replica of Manila Baywalk it's best to explore by night.
  • Plaza Cuartel, historical site during the Japanese garrison and a memorial park.
  • Immaculate Concepcion Church
  • Mitra's Ranch, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Palawan. Appreciate the beauty nature of Palawan.
  • Baker's Hill, a mini theme park, a selection of restaurant and there's so much to buy "pasalubong" here. Yummy delicacies!
  • Crocodile Farm, here you can learn more about the species of the crocodile, see it live and experience touching or carrying a baby crocodile. ohhh scary!
  • Butterfly Garden, explore different species of butterflies. Beautiful and colorful.
  • For the last stop of the city tour Binuatan Creations, here you can try learning few steps  and see actual way of weaving. They also sells different kind of woven products that I'm pretty sure you won't resists to buy one.
Food Haven's in Puerto Princesa
There's so much good restaurant that surrounds Puerto Princesa. Seafoods are overloaded everywhere. I really took this chance to dine, in most touristic and famous restaurant.
  • Kinabuch Grill and Bar, Palawan's famous grill and bar. Reservation is a must here as most tourist are eager to try their food.  Food here are superb, affordable and a good place to hang out.
  • Kalui Restaurant, this is really food haven for me. Experience  barefoot in this restaurant and everything in the menu is seafoods. That's what i'm talking about, seafoods overloaded to all seafoods lover. Reservation is strictly a must.
  • Balinsasayaw Chicken Grill and Restaurant, set in a native hut and food here are very affordable.
  • Itoy's Coffee Haus, a desserts haven. If you just love dessert this is the best place to try. Everything is yummy and the coffee frappe as well.
Just 25 minutes from the city to the wharf and enjoying a 50 minutes boat ride of beautiful scenic view to reach the Island of Dos Palmas.
Dos Palmas has a crystal clear water and white sand beach that I truly enjoyed the water and sand which I could not resist and wasn't hesitant to try some beach activities on a hot day like ocean kayak, snorkeling and of course swimming, swimming and swimming under the heat of the sun.
Buffet lunch at Dos Palmas is a food haven for me, sounds like I really love food. Of course I do, everyone does. Food here was awesome! You better try it out!
Beach is perfectly stunning, food are awesome and the place is perfect tranquility.

A natural world heritage and one of the new 7 wonders of nature and this would complete your summer wonder.
Explore and experiences the wonders of  the underground river. Appreciate and be amaze by the beauty of the unique formation of the nature's underground river and learn something.

This is one of kind experience for me that only happened at Puerto Princesa, Palawan and this would be the best summer wonderful destination.

----------
There's so much more from Puerto Princesa has to offered, it's just that, I need more time to spend and to explore this beautiful city in a forest. It was simply a wonderful experience!

The Beginning of my Journey

The Beginning of my Journey

Departure... Arrival...

Depart from Terminal 1 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines took us 8 hours flight to arrive at Dubia International Airport for our stop over via Emirates Airlines. Waited 4 hours at Dubia International Airport before headed for our flights to Rome, Italy.
Departed from Terminal 3 of Dubia International Airport and took us another 6 hours flight via Emirates Airline to arrived at Rome, Fiumicino Airport, Italy.
Rome Fiumucino Airport, our group getting their own baggage

 The Airline

Emirates Airlines is an airline based at Dubia, United Arab Emirates from its exclusive hub in Terminal 3.
Emirates Airline provide an inflight entertainment system known as “ICE” a touchscreen remote for movies, TV shows, games, music, news and more in just a touch of my fingertips. You won't get easily bored on board, I was entertained with the available movies, they even had a Tagalog Movie. I had watched several movies but haven't finish some for I got to fall asleep and turns out the Tv was the one watching me over LOL. Pretty cool hah!

While relaxing during flight,  I can still use my mobile phone for texting and calling while on board (International Fees applies). The airline also offers an on board internet connection, of course fee applies... I hope its was free but na-ahhh....
Emirate Flight Attendant gave passengers menu for the designated flight whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner and even snacks before it is being served for references of the passengers and the airline offers a wide range of complimentary beverages and wine inflight to choose from. Isn't that awesome? Well, all International Airline does, It's a matter in the differences of services, comfortability and experiences.

Thumbs-up for Emirates Airline.

Upon arriving at  Rome, Fiumicino Airport, Italy. We were fetch by our gigantic tour bus. Clean, comfy and nice one! Love it! together with are Italian driver "Batiliano, who drove us smoothly and safely in every destination. His really a good driver!

Happy Hour at Klownz

Klownz Comedy Bar

Happy Hour

Every time I’m in Manila with my friends we always plan to have an happy hour at a comedy bar. We mostly spend it at Klownz in Quezon Ave. If I’m not mistaken this was my fourth time giggling and laughing at this comedy entertainment by a bajillion of fantastic comedian artist such as Allan K, Ate Guy and more.

I think this is the best Comedy Bar in the Philippines since I haven’t tried any other comedy bar, hahaha what do you think?

Paid an entrance fee of Php250.00, entrance fee differs especially if they have a special guest (fee rise up to Php500) as far as I remember we paid Php350 last time in which sex bomb dancers was their special guest.

Entrance Fee is not consumable in terms of drinks and food but very much consumable in entertainment, laughter, laughter and laughter till you run out of breath or till drop.

A comfortable sit and table, a round of bucket beer and a plate of "chicharon bulaklak" is all we need and we were all set to listen and have fun until it closed at 3am but we ended an hour before it closed. (I just love there chicharon bulaklak, no other bar and restaurant that i've tried could beat it's crispiness).

Loads of songs and dances by the comedians, loads of funny and some greenly jokes and stories being shared. Audience can jam on stage or participate on stage, mostly men audience are more salable at stage. All I did was laughed until the end. We ladies just enjoyed everything, from beginning till the end.

Until my next happy hour at Klownz.

Here's the result of a happily enjoyable hour,  when we reached home.
The after effect of my two Bff.

Let me share some of our past happy hour happenings at Klownz Comedy Bar.

The day tour continues.....

After seeing the fantastic light show and a walk to the historic tunnel of Malinta. Now the best part of the tour "Lunch". Finally it's lunch time, served at the only hotel available in the Island of Corregidor, "Corregidor Inn".
The buffet was simply gastronomic delight. Soup, pasta, salad, meat, chicken, vegetable and desserts. A healthy welcome drink is given upon are arrival. Superb!

In this museum you could see lot's of memorabilia used during the old time in Corregidor and photos behind it.

A Large steel sculpture which symbolize the Flame of Freedom burning eternally. With a breathtaking panoramic view of the Manila Bay, the Bataan Peninsula and the coastline of Cavite.

 Mile Long Barracks Ruins

The Ruins of the Mile Long Barracks is a three story concrete building and contructed to be hurricane proof. It was popularly known as the world's longest military barracks

We really had fun taking our jump shot at the ruins....

As our journey to this enchanting historical discovery of the Island of Corregidor comes to an end. It was a wonderful experience to stand-in and reminished one of the historical well-reserved landmark of the Philippines.
