Homer Alpine Nature Walk

After a exploring the beautiful scenic cruise at Milford Sound we headed back to Queenstown but before heading back, we did a photo stop at Homer Alpine.
This walk cannot be accessed if avalanche (snowslide/snowslip) danger closes the car park. Located on the Eastern side of the Homer Tunnel this short nature walk gives an opportunity to see the alpine landscape close-up and see the plants and animals that survive in this harsh environment.
Located beside the eastern portal of the Homer Tunnel this short self-guided nature walk gives you an opportunity to learn more about the alpine landscape and how plants and animals survive here.

We only took few photos and our tour guide gave as short information about this stunning alpine. Feeding of their native parrot "Kea" is not allowed.
Upon arriving at Queenstown, we had our Dinner at Mandarin Chinese Restaurant at Queenstown Beach street.
Since this is our last night at Queenstown, New Zealand. We had a little drinking session at our hotel room together with our driver/guide who has been so kind and accommodating in our whole journey in New Zealand, from the start at Christchurch to Queenstown -  Milford Sound.
Together with my sister, we brought burger at Fergburger, know for it's best burger in Queenstown downtown.
