Auckland City Sights - Part I

Best way for sight seeing and knowing Auckland is having a city tour on best touristy spot.
Queen Street is the major commercial thoroughfare in Auckland, New Zealand's, the main population centre. It starts at Queens Wharf on the Auckland waterfront.
An early stop at Victoria Park Market in downtown Auckland for some souvenir and a little cheap shopping but sadly most shops are still closed and some parts are undergoing renovation.

The Auckland Harbour Bridge is an eight-lane box truss motorway bridge over the Waitemata Harbour. It is the second-longest road bridge in New Zealand, and the longest in the North Island. It is an Auckland Icon. It has a length of 1,020 m (3,348 ft), with a main span of 243.8 m, rising 43.27 m above high water.

Bungy operator AJ Hackett operates a 40m bungy jump from the bridge. They also offer a bridge climb with views of the city and the harbour.

Auckland is popularly known as the "City of Sails" because the harbour is often dotted with hundreds of yachts and has more per capita than any other city in the world, with around 135,000 yachts and launches. About one in three Auckland households owns a boat.

Westhaven Marina in Auckland, New Zealand, is the largest yacht marina in the Southern Hemisphere. Auckland, known as 'City of Sails', is generally known for its maritime passions owned by Auckland City Council.
