Featherdale Wildlife Park

Featherdale provides close encounters with Australia’s most beloved and iconic ‘Aussies’, the Koala and Kangaroo.

From the Scenic World, Blue Mountain, we took time to visit Featherdale Wildlife Park before heading back to Sydney.

Featherdale Wildlife Park is about 45 minutes from the centre of Sydney. We start creating a unique wildlife experience at Featherdale.  On the main entrance at Featherdale, we already encounter a cute baby kangaroo which we tried to carry it for picture taking purposes. :->

We hand feed a kangaroo, wallaby or emu and enjoy a face-to-face encounter with their friendly koalas and did a LOT of picture taking. Featherdale is one of Australia's largest private collections of Australian native animals and bird life.

Featherdale's facilities include a Café, souvenir shop and shady picnic areas and it is ideal for young and old one to enjoy the  whole collections of native animals and beautiful birds.

Featherdale isn't just a unique Aussie experience, it's unique value too which add knowledge and discover new things.

After exploring so much at Featherdale, we headed back to Sydney and did a little souvenir shopping in Market City. I don't have any photos to show what's inside this Market City for were busy doing our shopping spree and got limited time left, for this shops closed as early as 5pm. Ohhmen, so early right!? Well, that's Australia.

Market City is like our own version of 168, Tutuban Mall or Divisoria in Manila. The only difference,  it's a safe place from thief. They have a wide range of souvenir items here, everything you wanted like shirt, jackets, shorts and more. You can bargain or ask discount especially when you bought a lot. What's good here if your out of cash (Australian Dollar) just like us, don't worry most of the shops here accept credit card without any added charges. Very convenient and guaranteed satisfaction.

After doing some rush shopping we had Dinner at Celestial Chinese Restaurant, were Lobster and  Abalone dishes were waiting for us. Yummy!
